Andis Launches Social Media Program for Groomers

Andis is expanding its social media ambassador program to its animal division, launching the search for groomers to become its new social media ambassadors.

The campaign is open to U.S.-based professional pet groomers, competitive groomers and livestock groomers who are interested in joining Andis in the social space and can demonstrate their grooming talent in images and video. #AndisGroomNation social media brand ambassadors will review new tools and exclusive product launches via their social media channels.

“At Andis, we want to foster the impressive growth in engagement we’ve witnessed across our social media channels in animal grooming,” said Karen Formico, vice president of marketing. “Our #AndisGroomingNation program is the perfect opportunity for us to work with skilled, passionate groomers, sharing their experiences and the love they have for our brand.”

To be considered for the program, applicants must post a photo of a finished animal groom to Instagram, plus a description of why they aspire to be an #AndisGroomNation social media ambassador.

Entries open April 1. Andis will select the top 20 grooming specialists who post to Instagram before May 15. The team of ambassadors will be announced in June.
