Cat Crib Accepts Bitcoin Payments

Published:

Cat Crib is now accepting payment in the form of Bitcoin at the company’s online store, store.catcrib.com. The new form of payment will expose Cat Crib to the growing user base of the expanding currency.

Bitcoin is a crypto currency that is issued by an on-going algorithm that is used in day-to-day market transactions. Unlike typical currencies, like the dollar or euro, Bitcoin is not issued from a Central Bank. Bitcoin is introduced into the marketplace at a specific rate by the controlling algorithm. No single entity controls the algorithm but all users conducting transactions using Bitcoin must adhere to the rules—which cannot be changed—set by the algorithm.

Since currency’s value is largely dependent upon what a person can use that currency for, Cat Crib decided to join the growing marketplace of vendors who accept Bitcoin.
