Fromm Family Foods to Host Fromm Petfest in Milwaukee
Fromm Family Foods has partnered with Milwaukee World Festival to host the first-ever Fromm Petfest at Henry Maier Festival Park in Milwaukee.
“Summer is such an exciting time for Wisconsin residents, and the lakefront has become synonymous with festivals,” said Bryan Nieman, brand director, Fromm Family Foods. “We truly believe that pets are part of the family and decided it was time to invite them into the fun of festival season.”
The one-day free event, which will be held Sept. 20 from 10 a.m.-6 p.m., will have a variety of pet-focused attractions and activities, including dock diving, agility demonstrations, nutritional seminars, grooming competitions, a pet-themed marketplace, family-focused games and activities, contests, live music food and more.
“Milwaukee World Festival, Inc. is proud to partner with Fromm Family Foods to bring yet another free event and programming to Henry Maier Festival Park,” said Don Smiley, president and CEO of Milwaukee World Festival, Inc. “Petfest will be a great addition to this year’s fall festival schedule and give the community the opportunity to enjoy time at the festival grounds with the whole family and their pets.”
The Wisconsin Humane Society and Milwaukee Area Domestic Animal Control Commission (MADACC) are Petfest's charitable partners and will work to raise funds at Petfest for both organizations and benefit local animals in the community in need. The groups will also host an Adoption Avenue, where people can meet dogs and cats looking for their forever homes.
"We will be working with our regional retailers to help promote Fromm Petfest and spread the word about this exciting event," Nieman said. "Our goal is to increase Fromm brand awareness in our community by creating an amazing family event that gives back to local animal welfare charities and drives customers to independent pet retailers."
