K9 Fit Club Partners with Petplan

K9 Fit Club, an indoor workout facility for dogs and their owners, is teaming up with Petplan to offer pet owners a way to keep pets healthy into old age. The partnership combines K9 Fit Club's focus on active, healthy lifestyle with Petplan's comprehensive coverage for unexpected illnesses and injuries.

"Petplan is much more than an insurance company. Like K9 Fit Club, they are passionate about fostering relationships between man and man's best friend, and are determined to enhance the longevity of our pets' life," said Tricia Montgomery, founder of K9 Fit Club.

By partnering with Petplan, K9 hopes to raise awareness of the under-insured nature of American pets.

According to Petplan's co-founder and co-CEO, Natasha Ashton, one in three pets will require unexpected veterinary care each year, and each day, a pet parent is faced with a vet bill for more than $1,000. "That's where pet insurance can help, by offering peace of mind that should your pet get injured or fall ill, you'll have help getting your four-legged friend back on her paws—and back to the gym," Ashton said.

Petplan policies offer the most comprehensive coverage in the industry, covering all accidents and injuries, including hereditary and chronic conditions as standard, and without additional fees or add-ons.
