Orlando Becomes Official Site of Global Pet Expo Through 2019

Orlando, Fla., will remain the official site of the Global Pet Expo through 2019, according to the show’s organizers.

In a pre-show ceremony, Andrew Darmohraj, American Pet Products Association (APPA) executive vice president and COO, finalized the contract with the Orange County Convention Center (OCCC), along with Teresa Jacobs, mayor of Orange County, and OCCC executive director Kathie Canning.

“We are thrilled to be able to call the OCCC home to Global Pet Expo for the next five years,” said Darmohraj. “Orlando has proven to be an ideal location for our show attendees for the past several years. It has fantastic accommodations, restaurants, attractions and a state-of-the-art convention center. Orlando International Airport offers easy access for domestic and international travelers. Our Show has thrived in this setting, and we look forward to continued growth.”
