Auburn Leathercrafters of Auburn, N.Y. acquired Idaho-based A Tail We Could Wag, a maker of high quality collars, leashes, harnesses and matching belts for pet owners. The fabric for A Tail We Could Wag's unique woven designs is inspired by traditional patterns from Guatemala.

"Part of Auburn Leathercrafters’ commitment to quality and attention to detail is a dedication to working with others who share the same high standards, which is why we choose our partners carefully, and which is why we are so excited about this opportunity," said Auburn Leathercrafters' president, Anita Dungey. "It is not only a commitment to quality, but a sense of community that is important to us."

The A Tail We Could Wag line will be available in January, 2018. The handcrafted collars, leashes, harnesses and matching belts and the rest of Auburn Leathercrafters' products will be manufactured at and shipped directly from the company's facility in New York.
