Blue Dog Bakery Launches New Treats and Packaging

Blue Dog Bakery celebrated its 20-year anniversary with a reveal of its new line of premium meat snacks as well as updated packaging. The company also recently grew its executive team.

 

The new Chicken Sticks and Chicken Bites give pet parents more options to treat their dogs with pure protein. The company also implemented redesigned packaging for its Beef Sticks and Beef Bites. All of these meat snacks are made with USA Premium Beef or Chicken, contain no common fillers (such as wheat, corn or soy) and are free of artificial ingredients and animal by-products. The new packaging is created with transparency and sustainability in mind by reducing packaging waste and including a see-through pane, allowing consumers to view the treats before purchasing. Blue Dog Bakery has a longstanding commitment to creating all-natural, healthy dog treats made in the USA.

 

In expanding its executive team, Blue Dog Bakery hired Jean Lizotte as vice president of marketing. She brings over 20 years of marketing and brand strategy experience as well as a strong track record of growing small to mid-sized natural brands. Prior to joining Blue Dog Bakery, Lizotte was the vice president of brand at MegaFood where she created growth through break-out branding and corporate strategy. Her passion for natural small to mid-sized companies brought her to Blue Dog Bakery where she will help tell the brand’s unique story through consumer insight work, product innovation and brand development.

Blue Dog Bakery will be exhibiting at SuperZoo at booth #1035. The new meat snacks will be on display at the booth and in the New Product Showcase. Lizotte will also be onsite at SuperZoo to discuss the new meat snacks, packaging design and product differentiators.
