Celebrating National Cat Day

Published:

In celebration of National Cat Day taking place on October 29th, here’s a look at some of the top products for cats that we’ve seen this year. Our selection covers cat goodies from major categories including litter, treats and toys.

DoyenWorld’s DoyenCat is a self-balancing, wobbling figure that is both a toy and food dispenser. It has two chambers: one for holding catnip in order to encourage play and another for distributing treats. The toy is easy to twist open and fill, and comes in various colors and designs.

Imperial Cat’s Nifty Scratch ‘n Shape has a honeycomb surface that mimics the feel of tree bark. The contoured surface allows for lounging. The scratcher is made in the USA from recycled paper and comes with a bag of 100 percent organic catnip.

Arm & Hammer’s SLIDE Easy Clean-Up Clumping Litter slides out of the pan without sticking. Its plant-derived particles form a seal around waste to eliminate odor and create hard clumps that make scooping easier. It is 100 percent dust-free and is available in 14-, 19- and 28-lb. boxes.

Petmate’s Jackson Galaxy Gravity Tower uses repelling magnets embedded in spinning horizontal dowels to create this toy’s bouncing and spinning motion. The weighted base allows the toy to right itself after tipping and wobbling.

Caru Pet Food added a new Wild Tuna flavor to its Soft ‘n Tasty line of natural cat treats. Each baked bite is made with USDA-inspected tuna and non-GMO ingredients. The treats are prepared in small batches and are formulated without artificial colors, flavors or preservatives and do not contain any grain, wheat, gluten, corn, soy ingredients or animal byproducts.
