Champion Pet Foods Expands ACANA Singles Line

Champion Petfoods expanded its lineup of ACANA Singles limited-ingredient, biologically-appropriate dog treats with two new flavors.

The new ACANA Singles dog treats are made with quality animal ingredients delivered to Champion’s Kentucky DogStar Kitchen raw (can be frozen) and then gently freeze-dried using state-of-the-art techniques. The treats contain up to 80 percent meat, poultry or fish, and the formulas are prepared with regionally-sourced ingredients.

The two new flavors are ACANA Turkey & Greens, made with free-run turkey and collard greens; and ACANA Beef & Pumpkin, made with ranch-raised beef and whole Kentucky pumpkin.

The existing flavors include ACANA Lamb & Apple, made with grass-fed lamb and Red Delicious apples; ACANA Pork & Squash, made with Yorkshire pork and butternut squash; ACANA Duck & Pear, made with free-run duck and Bartlett pears; and ACANA Mackerel & Greens, made with New England mackerel and spinach greens.

“We wanted to give pet lovers additional, new ways to reward their dogs,” said Julie S. Washington, chief marketing officer of Champion. “Bringing additional flavors to our ACANA Singles dog treats line ensures that more dogs will be able to enjoy a delicious reward that supports their diet, even if they have food sensitivities. This line presents simple but delicious recipes that all dogs can indulge in.”
