DOOG Makes New Hire

Published:

DOOG hired Rick Klein to head its sales operations in North America. Klein brings nearly 30 years of experience in the consumer and pet retail markets in various sales management positions.

“Rick is a tremendous hire for us at this vital time of growth and expansion of our territories in North America,” said Jamie Knight, co-founder and director of Sydney, Australia-based DOOG. “He not only shares our passion for bringing quality, innovative products to market for the active dog owner, but he has a keen understanding of how to make DOOG viable for the long term.”

Klein joins DOOG after serving as vice president of sales and marketing for Senproco, Inc., and Groomer’s Choice. During his time there, he handled all areas of distribution while managing 30 national pet specialty and big-box retail accounts.

“I was really impressed by both the style and functionality across all product categories at DOOG,” said Klein. “Then, I had the privilege to travel to Australia and meet with Jamie and Jessica Knight who impressed with their dedication and love for the company, for dogs and their owners. I knew this was an organization I wanted to be involved with and to help take to the next level and beyond.”

Klein will be available at the DOOG booth #6241 during SuperZoo.
