Eight Animal Non-Profits Win Year's Supply of Innovacyn Products
Innovacyn, the makers of Vetericyn animal wound- and skin-care products, named the winners of its fourth-annual Vetericyn Loves Animals online charity giveaway.
The eight non-profit organizations that received the most online votes and won more than $2,500 in prizes are: Carolina Waterfowl Rescue of Charlotte, N.C.; Ghetto Rescue FFoundation of Anaheim Hills, Calif.; Recycled Pets NorCal of Sacramento, Calif.; Noah’s Ark of Locust Grove, Ga.; Triple H Miniature Horse Rescue of Mandan, N.D.; Rosemary Farm Sanctuary of South Kortright, N.Y.; Animals Taiwan in Taiwan; and Penang Animal Welfare Society of Penang, Malaysia.
Each winner will be awarded a year’s supply of Vetericyn, along with a prize package from giveaway supporters, including Clinton Anderson’s Downunder Horsemanship, Cesar Millan, Bio-Groom, Whimzees, Three Dog Bakery, Thunderworks, Tuggo, Cavalor, “I and love and you” Total Pet Care, New Age Pet, John Paul Pet, Neater Pet Brands, Holistic Horse and Nose-It.
A total of 311 groups were nominated on the Vetericyn website. The groups were divided into three categories: U.S.-based organizations that primarily serve small animals (cats, dogs, exotics, etc.), U.S.-based organizations that serve large animals (horses, mules, donkeys, etc.), and international organizations. Voting took place for three weeks on the Vetericyn web page, with approximately 170,000 votes coming in for the charities.
In addition, Vetericyn has offered to send a case of wound and skin care products to each of the 311 charities. “We salute the tireless work they do, and are happy to support their efforts to improve the health of the animals they serve,” said Scott Vanwinkle, director of marketing for Innovacyn.
