Oxbow Animal Health Welcomes Quality Operations Specialist

Jaren Rief has joined Oxbow Animal Health as its quality operations specialist. In his position, Rief will work to monitor and maintain product-related specifications and quality procedures to ensure Oxbow’s hay and hay-based products meet or exceed quality standards. He will lead quality education efforts among vendors and employees, and will work companywide to develop and maintain accurate and efficient systems and protocols.


Prior to joining the Oxbow team, Rief held the position of applied research farm manager at Choice Genetics USA in Des Moines, Iowa.


“Product quality is and has always been our number-one focus and goal at Oxbow,” said John Miller, president and owner of Oxbow Animal Health. “Jaren’s agricultural upbringing and experience, as well as his experience in the animal health field, put him in a unique position to understand both our high product standards and the specific nutritional needs of the animals we serve. We are very excited about the skills and abilities he brings to the Oxbow team.”
