Sentiments Named on Inner City 100 List

Sentiments, a Commerce, Calif.-manufacturer of home textile and pet products, was named on Fortune magazine’s Inner City 100 list, which recognizes the 10 fastest-growing inner-city businesses within 10 industry sectors. Sentiments was named the tenth fastest growing company with a 600-percent five-year growth rate. The company was also listed No. 4 in the manufacturer sector.


Sentiments, which was founded by Shoreh Samani in 2006, has experienced upward growth over the past four years. The company launched its line of designer dog beds in 2010, which helped spur growth.


The company recently debuted its Urban Paw pet product brand, which is tailored to the pet specialty sector and promotes the well-being of pets and their owners with environmentally friendly products and a cause-driven mission. Ten-percent of Urban Paw’s profits will be donated to animal rescue efforts.
