Dexas Names President



Scott Henrikson has been named president of Dexas International, a designer and manufacturer of housewares, pet and office products. Henrikson is an accomplished consumer products executive and a veteran of the housewares and outdoor products industries. He will report to the founder and chief executive officer of Dexas International, Ellis Shamoon.

“Dexas is an exceptional, family-owned company with nearly 50 years of excellence in product design, innovation and customer service,” Henrikson said. “Our expertise in product development and Texas-based manufacturing capabilities allow us to uniquely serve our retailers and consumers around the world. I’m excited and honored to join Ellis and his talented team.”

Henrikson has an extensive sales and marketing background and recently spent nearly 15 years with Jarden Corporation. While at Jarden he held the positions of executive vice president of sales and marketing for Quickie, senior vice president of sales and marketing for Coleman and vice president of sales and marketing for Jarden Consumer Solutions. Prior to Jarden, Henrikson served as vice president of sales for Progressive International. His early professional experience includes Newell Corporation, Corning and General Mills.
