Former TailsSpin Owners To Open New Pet Supplies Stores: Wag Heaven

Owners and husbands, Jusak Yang Bernhard and Jeff Manley, will open their new pet supplies store, Wag Heaven, in Georgetown, TX.

“We are thrilled to be opening our business in Georgetown, and to be closer to our family,” said Manley.  “We have met so many wonderful people and organizations since moving here.  Supporting the community is what we are all about, and what better way to do that than through this amazing and fun pet industry.  It also allows us to be better sons and brothers.”

“We’ll be bringing our signature events to the Georgetown community, such as our Pet Care and Adoption Fair, Woof Woof 5K Run and Low Cost Pet Vaccine Clinics, to fundraise for local and national pet organizations and non-profit organizations, involving local pet retailers and vendors as well as pet manufacturers,” said Jusak.

The soft opening of Wag Heaven is scheduled for Monday Sept. 2 on Labor Day in the Goodwill Shopping Center.  The public is welcome to attend a cook out with free hamburgers, hot dogs, soft drinks and music from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Free pet product gifts will also be available.

Wag Heaven will open up a second location later this year in Downtown Georgetown, where it is being renovated and scheduled to be ready in around six months.

The new stores will offer hypoallergenic pet food free of corn, wheat and soy, a variety of raw food diets, supplements and accessories.  They will also feature two self-serve dog wash stations.

In 2017, the couple sold their three pet supplies store locations in Savannah, Ga. and moved to Georgetown to support their family.  The stores earned several awards, including the Multi-Store Retail Excellence Award from Pet Business Magazine.

Together they were awarded the Small Business Administration (SBA) Georgia Small Business Persons of the Year.  They also won Best Pet Stores and Community recognition from local organizations and publications, such as the Savannah Morning News, Connect Savannah, First City Network, and Savannah-Chatham County Board of Public Education.
