General Pet Supply Increases Distribution Reach

General Pet Supply expanded distribution into Michigan. The announcement came along with the hiring of a territory manager, Katie Maliniak, to help service the new area of coverage.

“We are very excited about expanding into Michigan,” said Bob Merar, president of General Pet. “The expansion strengthens our footprint across the Midwest and helps complete our national coverage model.”

General Pet currently delivers Hill’s Pet Food in the Michigan area, but will now sell and distribute over 15,000 items from its catalog. It has seven distribution centers across the Midwest, provides delivery to 18 states and distributes products from over 150 manufacturers.
