Global Pet Expo To Offer Global Learning Series

Global Pet Expo show management shared details about the Global Learning Series, a free educational program that will be offered at Global Pet Expo 2021. 

Global Pet Expo, presented by American Pet Products Association (APPA) and the Pet Industry Distributors Association (PIDA), is set to take place March 24–26, 2021 at the Orange County Convention Center in Orlando, Fla. The Global Learning Series incorporates learning events for all attendees including retailers, distributors and manufacturers.

 

The Retailer Success Series, formerly known as the Global Pet Expo Academy and presented by Pet Store Pro, will feature over 30 hours of learning presented by retail industry experts on a variety topics. This series also includes Learning Series Workshops, which will begin virtually pre-show with pre-registration required and continue with in-person sessions in Orlando, followed up by continued learning post-show. Applications are currently being accepted for prospective speakers in this series. Interested candidates must fill out the Speaking Engagement Request Form by Sept. 15, 2020.

 

The Paws2Learn sessions will take place in the New Products Showcase and feature short, on-the-go experiences such as Hot Topics, 15-minute Mini Sessions and Paws2Grow Wellness Breaks.

 

APPA Learning Experiences will include a retail tour, interest group meet-ups and other experiential activities before taking place before, during and after the show.

 

The Markert Research Sessions will be open to all attendees and will highlight the latest data in pet ownership, profitability and more.‚Äč

 

Pathways will feature learning under specific knowledge areas including profitability and growth, public relations and marketing, leadership, human resources and customer experiences, among others.
