Grandma Lucy’s Celebrates 20th Anniversary With Social Media Giveaway
Grandma Lucy’s celebrates its 20-year anniversary this year and is launching its 20 Days of Lucy’s social media campaign.
Beginning Dec. 5 and for each day leading up to Christmas, Grandma Lucy’s will offer the social media giveaway via Instagram and Facebook, with winners selected at random daily. During the giveaway, participants are encouraged to follow the pages, follow instructions on daily posts and utilize the hashtag – #20DaysofLucys – to increase chances of winning.
“We are thrilled and honored to be celebrating 20 years in this very competitive industry,” said Breann Shook, co-founder and owner of Grandma Lucy’s. “What initially started as a home remedy for our own family pup has developed into a greater solution enabling pets around the world to eat their way to better health. Grandma Lucy’s is honored to be able to celebrate this two-decade streak, and we hope to continue bringing health and nutritious goodness into people’s homes for many more to come.”
Grandma Lucy’s was established in 1999 and is known today for its unique freeze-drying process which preserves the integrity of food and avoids compromising its nutrients, vitamins, color, texture or taste. Popular products throughout the years have included Artisan – an original Grandma Lucy’s product that provides pets a grain-free, single-source protein diet; Pureformance – a gluten-free product that supports diets of high-performance dogs; Macanna – a holistic vet’s dream recipe; Singles – single ingredient pet treats; and Organic Oven Baked Dog Treats – treats made with highest-quality ingredients for dogs and humans alike to enjoy. Just this year, Grandma Lucy’s launched two new product lines – Moxie, a freeze-dried dog food that is high in protein and low in carbs, and Pumpkin Pouch Supplements that enable overall pet health by alleviating common ailments.
Throughout the years Grandma Lucy’s has also dedicated itself to supporting dogs in need since the company’s inception, working with charitable organizations to coordinate efforts. In 2014, Shook created #ProjectPetRAK to help streamline the process and increase awareness around how small acts of kindness to pets can have deep effects in local communities. To date, Grandma Lucy’s has worked with over 100 organizations nationwide to feed pets without homes.
