GroomTeam USA Launches Scholarship Program



 

GroomTeam USA is launching the applications for the GroomTeam USA Scholarship Fund intended to help the families of hard working pet stylists. There are two levels of awards—one for college education and the other for grooming education. The application deadline is June 1, 2017.

The college education recipient will receive $2,000 in college funds paid directly to the school. The applicant must be a U.S. citizen and the child, stepchild or grandchild of a professional groomer.

The grooming education recipient is open to all U.S. citizens and provides a full scholarship to their choice of a selected nationally acclaimed grooming schools. GroomTeam USA will also provide up to a maximum of $1,000 toward the purchase of the standard grooming kit available through the selected school.

Participating schools include Maser’s Academy of Fine Grooming (Kenmore, Wash.), Merryfield School of Pet Grooming (Fort Lauderdale, Fla.), Nanhall School of Dog Grooming (Greensboro, N.C.), Paragon School of Pet Grooming (Jenison, Mich.) and the Pennsylvania Academy of Pet Grooming (Indiana, Pa.).
