Groomers Helper and ClotIt form Strategic Alliance for Pet Groomers and Grooming Retailers

Groomers Helper and Protégé Biomedical announced that they have joined hands in a new, strategic alliance to provide the pet grooming and pet retail industry with their line of Proactive First Aid wound care products.

ClotIt, an all natural patented formula, stops bleeding on all animals and can be used on wounds both large and small. This mineral-based, white powder requires no specialized medical training to use. Simply apply it with pressure to the wound. ClotIt does not sting when used, does not stain fingers or fur, has an unlimited shelf life and will not clump. It works by stimulating and accelerating the animal’s own natural coagulation process at a rate up to five times faster than the current leading brand.

In both retail and professional applicator packaging for shops and salons, Groomers Helper will also offer a complete ClotIt Pet First Aid kit that every pet owner should have in case of home emergency. "This is the perfect item for all pet owners," said Chuck Simons, inventor of the Groomers Helper. "For pet owners that want to be prepared in case of an emergency, for salon owners that want to be able to offer their clientele a valuable safety kit, and for friends of pet owners looking for the perfect gift".

ClotIt was introduced by Groomers Helper to thousands at Intergroom earlier in April. "Being a part of the Groomers Helper line of innovative safety and positioning products is exactly where ClotIt belongs,” said Ron Shay, VP at Protégé Biomedical. "We share the same desire to provide the industry with the highest quality, safest possible solutions to the challenges of working with pets every day. ClotIt and Groomers Helper really are made for each other".

Groomers Helper will represent ClotIt products in the US and select overseas countries to distributors, major retailers and independent operators both large and small.
