Hotels Offer Deals for National Dog Day

A group of hotels around the country are celebrating Saturday’s National Dog Day in a big way with waived fees, special treats and gifts. If your store is in the Seattle, New York City or Philadelphia areas—you know where to send your customers to spoil their dogs on this special holiday.

The Pan Pacific Seattle is just a short walk from the Space Needle. On a normal day, the hotel provides a complimentary dog walk, dog dining table, plush dog bed, gourmet treats from Scarps Dog Bakery and maps of dog-friendly places in Seattle. For National Dog Day, Pan Pacific is waiving the $50 pet fee and offering house-made dog biscuits in their lobby all day.

At pet-friendly Hotel 48LEX in Midtown East, Manhattan welcomes dogs with a treat bag, an organic dog bed from Beekman 1802, a pet bowl, bottled water service and a branded dog tag. On Saturday, Hotel 48LEX is waiving the $50 nightly pet fee and giving guests a New York City-themed plush toy of their choice.

Philadelphia’s Rittenhouse is celebrating National Dog Day by gifting a waived $150 pet fee as well as a customized pet bowl, plush bed and house-made dog treats from The Rittenhouse’s in-house pastry team. Dog sitters and walkers can be arranged through The Rittenhouse’s concierge for a fee.
