Hyper Pet LLC has promoted its executive vice president, Tim Blurton, to CEO.

Blurton has worked for almost 30 years with brands such as Royal Canin and Mars. He received his bachelor’s degree from the University of Manchester in manufacturing engineering. With experience establishing new businesses such as Royal Canin Veterinary Diets, Blurton joined Hyper Pet as executive vice president in early 2016.

This announcement follows the retirement announcement of Randy Woods, who was with Hyper Pet for 20 years and served as CEO for the past 12 years.

“I am so proud of the business growth, development and success that Hyper Pet has enjoyed over the years,” said Woods. “I couldn’t be more confident that under Tim’s new leadership, the company will continue to evolve and deliver success for years to come.”

“There’s no question that I have some big shoes to fill here at Hyper Pet,” Blurton said. “I am thrilled to be taking the lead as CEO and look forward to constantly innovating with our team and continuing to offer our customers the high quality, interactive toys, leashes and collars the brand is renowned for.”
