J-Six Enterprises Acquires Perrigo Animal Health Facility

J-Six Enterprises acquired the Perrigo Animal Health facility in Kansas City, Kan. The facility features a variety of pet treat manufacturing capabilities, a tablet production line to produce pet supplements and vitamins, x-ray metal detection and nitrogen flush capability.

“We’re excited to enter the treat and tablet co-manufacturing business and look forward to introducing private label and custom manufacturing services to the pet trade,” said Troy Kramer, J-Six Enterprises co-owner. “The current food safety and production teams will remain employed at the facility and plans are in place to expand the team in 2017. Our company focuses on food safety, and the facility has earned a Safe Quality Foods certification in accordance with the Global Food Safety initiative, which dovetails nicely with our comprehensive quality and food safety programs.”
