Lightspeed Retail Adds Features to Its Inventory Management Software
Lightspeed added inventory-focused features to its Lightspeed Retail’s suite of tools to help the company deliver inventory management control, offering retailers added insight into how their business is performing.
“There has been an increasing demand for a measurement tool to help retailers in complex verticals better manage the surplus or shortage that frequently arises as a result of product shifts,” said Dax Dasilva, founder and CEO of Lightspeed. “These features help our customers fully understand what factors are affecting their stock, from overselling items to purchase orders, so that they can plan their product operations accordingly.”
The latest in Lightspeed Retail includes:
A negative inventory report, to help retailers get to the bottom of common issues that result in stock deficits through inventory reports and allow them to see updated, accurate inventory information. This feature can be used to manage pre-orders and back orders, both in-store and online.
A home data-driven dashboard that focuses on the shop's overall goals, including revenue, margining, profit, sales, discounts and refunds.
Redesigned vendor returns for merchants to manage inventory, including quantities on return orders.
Newly supported images, dimensions and formats so merchants can showcase their products online in more detail to deliver better experiences and increased sales.”
