11 Organizations Receive Oxbow Animal Health Rescue Grants
Oxbow Animal Health has awarded 11 organizations its 2014 Oxbow Animal Health Rescue Grants. The organizations will receive funding totaling over $20,000 for a variety of projects and programs that benefit the welfare of small animals throughout North America. Grant winners are chosen for excellence in the areas of educational outreach, public awareness and project impact.
“On behalf of the entire Oxbow family, I would like to congratulate the 2014 Oxbow Rescue Grant recipients,” said John Miller, president and CEO of Oxbow Animal Health. “The ongoing work of small animal rescue organizations and wildlife rehabilitators is truly inspiring. We are proud and humbled to support these organizations annually, and we are so impressed by the work of this year’s recipients.”
The winners are: Minnesota Companion Rabbit Society of Edina, Minn.; STAR (Save the Animals Rescue) Foundation of Middle Island, N.Y.; Georgia House Rabbit Society of Marietta, Ga.; Gold Country Wildlife Rescue of Auburn, Calif.; Metropolitan Guinea Pig Rescue of Silver Spring, Md.; Bunny Burrow Rabbit Rescue of Watauga, Texas; Animal Welfare League of Arlington of Arlington, Va.; Center for Wildlife of Cape Neddick, Maine; Luna’s House of Abingdon, Md.; The Rabbit Haven of Scotts Valley, Calif.; and Virginia Beach SPCA of Virginia Beach, Va.
