British Pet Food Maker Canagan Makes its U.S. Debut

Canagan, a British-based maker of grain-free dog and cat food, made its U.S. debut at the Global Pet Expo. Canagan’s range of food will be manufactured in the USA.

Symply Pet Foods Limited brings the ultra-premium grain-free brand to market. The food is inspired by a dog’s ancestral diet, and its ingredients are sourced locally (where feasible) and feature high meat content, vegetables and botanicals. Canagan is available in five varieties suitable for dogs of all life stages, including Midwestern Plains Chicken Recipe, North Pacific Salmon Recipe, Country Game Recipe, Midwestern Plains Chicken Recipe for Small Breeds Dogs and Midwestern Plains Chicken Recipe for Large Breed Dogs. Further varieties and a complete range of cat foods will be released in the future.

Jack Drasner of PRISM, Pet Results In Sales and Marketing, will work with the company in the U.S. “I’m looking forward to working closely with the Canagan team as we extend the brand’s reach into the U.S. channel,” said Drasner, founder of PRISM. “Canagan’s excellent product line coupled with the company’s sincere concern and enthusiasm for the independent pet community makes this partnership a natural fit. I look forward to further developing Canagan’s sales organization and making the product line widely available to North American independent retailers and consumers alike.”
