Planet Dog Gives Websites a Facelift

Planet Dog has given its websites and major facelifts. The new websites feature a substantially re-designed layout that makes it easier for consumers and retailers to navigate all the company has to offer.

The websites offer a secure e-commerce platform that provides an easy and intuitive retail shopping experience. The product catalog is enhanced with the capacity for user reviews, integration with the popular Planet Dog blog, Chew on This, and a comprehensive Retailer Locator to allow customers to find their local Planet Dog reseller. The site offers an expansive learning center, with educational resources for dog owners about food and grooming options, exercise and health, training tips, and choosing the right toys for any dog.

Planet Dog’s retailers will be issued a log-in for to access to wholesale pricing and purchasing options, as well as additional content including selling tips, branded displays and merchandising assistance, easy access to their account information, free signage, and one-click image downloads to facilitate marketing efforts.

The new site is fully responsive, optimizing easy browsing, learning and shopping on any mobile device. "Our website is now easier to navigate, and packed with more content and ways to interact with the PDOG community on a desktop, mobile phone or tablet," said Kristen Smith, Planet Dog's brand ambassador.

In addition to extensive visual and navigation improvements, Planet Dog emphasized security, with enhanced online protections, and the most up-to-date SSL certificates.
