Treats from Emerald Pet Products Receive Packaging Makeover

Published:

Emerald Pet Products has updated the packaging for its Smart n’ Tasty Feline Dental Treats and Little Duckies dog treats. The packaging highlights the new Smart n’ Tasty logo, which features a paw-print stamp of approval for better consumer brand recognition across the complete line of products. The outdoor color scheme is designed to distinguish the brand at pet specialty retailers while maximizing shelf presence for consumers shopping in the natural section.

The company’s new cat and dog characters highlight the warm, approachable feel of the treat line. The packaging invites the consumer to review the high-quality ingredients to confirm they are making a healthy choice for their pets.

“The decision to modify our packaging design was influenced heavily by our customers,” said Glenn Novotny, vice president of sales at Emerald Pet Products. “We had several retailers asking if we could call out the fact they are made for pets with allergen sensitivities by being grain-free, gluten-free, soy-free and dairy-free, plus share that we only use all-natural ingredients with limited formulas.”
