Vital Essentials Calls for Retailers and Pet Owners to Vote for New Treat Flavors

Vital Essentials has invited retailers and pet parents across the country to vote for the next three treats that will be added to the company’s current six-item Freeze-Dried Vital Treats lineup. With seven new options to choose from, including Chicken Hearts, Beef Tendons, Wild Alaskan Salmon Rings, Beef Liver, Duck Nibs, Wild Alaskan Cod and Bully Sticks, voters are asked to select the top three new Vital Treats they would like to see added to the line.

“It’s essential that we seek input and advice from pet parents, retailers and distributors as we look to enhance the line,” said Nick Hetcher, director of marketing. “Due to the overwhelming success of the Vital Treats line, launched in early 2014, we have received an outpouring of customer requests asking for more. We plan to answer the call by introducing the new additions in June 2015.”

The public can vote on the treats on the company’s website,, through May 31. Vital Essentials will also award one pet parent with a year’s supply (24 packages) of VE Freeze-Dried Vital Treats.
