Midwestern Pet Foods Introduces Unrefined for Dogs and Puppies

Midwestern Pet Foods is now offering Unrefined, an all-new, heart healthy line of dog and puppy recipes. 

 

The dog and puppy recipes contain taurine and ancient grains like quinoa, buckwheat and chia, as well as superfoods such as pumpkin, butternut squash, kale, spinach and blueberries. 

 

“We’re thrilled to introduce all-new Unrefined,” said Katie McNulty, marketing coordinator. “Unrefined is an exciting advancement in Midwestern Pet Foods’ ongoing commitment to provide safe, high quality, cutting-edge nutrition aligned with sustainability.”

 

Unrefined debuted with four all-life stage recipes featuring sustainably-caught salmon, cage-free rabbit, cage-free turkey and cage-free lamb. Unrefined contains no peas, potatoes, lentils, legumes, chicken, beef, by-products, artificial colors, flavors or preservatives. 

 

The line is packaged in the PlantBag, made with BPA-free plant-based plastic, and is 100 percent recyclable through the Earthborn ReBorn program. Unrefined is also a part of the UPCs for Trees program. To date, Midwestern Pet Foods has recycled over half a million bags and planted over half a million trees.
