Midwestern Pet Foods Plants Thousands of Trees to Celebrate Earth Day

Published:

Midwestern Pet Foods, parent company of Earthborn Holistic, will plant over 17,000 trees as a result of its UPCs for Trees Double Redemption Campaign in April.

Consumers and retailers nationwide participated by collecting UPCs from Earthborn Holistic products and mailing them in. In return, Midwestern Pet Foods will plant trees in deforested areas throughout the world with Trees for the Future. April’s campaign will bring the total number of trees planted to more than 650,000.

“We’re thrilled that we saw our highest participation in our Earthborn Holistic UPCs for Trees program in April this year,” said Warren Hill, chief commercial officer of Midwestern Pet Foods. “Midwestern Pet Foods strives to produce safe, nutritious pet food while simultaneously increasing awareness about the environment.”
