Reed Howlett, CEO of Nature’s Variety, announced that he is resigning from the company effective July 12, 2018. Howlett has served as CEO of the company since July 2008. Under his leadership, the company grew to five times its size in revenue over the last decade. Nature’s Variety was acquired by Agrolimen SA of Barcelona, Spain in a two-stage private transaction from 2014-2016.

“It’s been an absolute honor to lead this great company and I look forward to seeing it continue to grow rapidly and make a deeply positive impact on the way people choose to feed their pets,” said Howlett.

Neil Thompson, formerly president and CEO of Hill's Pet Nutrition, will join Nature’s Variety as the new CEO. Most recently Thompson served on the Advisory Board of Affinity Petcare SA, a subsidiary of Agrolimen SA. In his new role, he will continue with his Board responsibilities.

“I’m excited to join the Nature’s Variety team and continue the admirable work of changing an industry through the highest quality, natural raw nutrition,” said Thompson.
