NexPet Partners with Direct Works-Mobilco



NexPet partnered with Directworks-Moblico to create custom geo-targeting advertising campaigns for its members. 

Directworks is a digital marketing company focused on small businesses, dedicated to improving stores’ communications with customers. After a store owner identifies competing stores in their market, Directworks will target people who shop at those target locations, delivering the store’s offers directly  to their mobile devices. 

NexPet and Directworks-Moblico have created three custom tiers of investment for members, ranging from beginner packages spanning three months, to more unique packages covering an entire year of digital marketing. NexPet is the exclusive partner for Directworks-Mobilco in the pet specialty category.

The handful of NexPet members already using geo-targeting tactics have seen significant increases in foot traffic and sales that they attributed to their mobile marketing campaign. 

NexPet is a national co-op of 540 independent pet stores that was founded in 1999 by Barry Berman and a group of Northeastern retailers. The organization provides marketing programs, group discounts and rebates and other programs to independent pet stores, and owns the Grandma Mae’s Country Naturals brand of dog and cat food.
