OFI Elects New Board Members

Ornamental Fish International (OFI) elected two Board of Advisors members at its 2019 Annual General Meeting hosted by Aquarama 2019 in Guangzhou on June 1.

 

“We congratulate all advisors on their election and welcome our two new advisors,” said Shane Willis, OFI president. “It is hoped that the new members will help the board to develop greater links into China and improve biosecurity in the industry.”

 

There were four board positions up for election, and members Sandy Moore of Segrest Inc in the USA and Deepak Nopany from Asian Exports in India were re-elected. The two elected members are Yannick Verry from Aquarama in China and Ran Epsteen from Colors in Israel.

 

Verry works at VNU Exhibitions Asia Co. Ltd, the owner of Aquarama at their office in Shanghai, China. He has experience in the tradeshow industry and his work with Aquarama and PetFair in China have given him a wide network of contacts within the industry in China and around the world.

 

Epsteen is an ornamental fish producer and exporter from Israel with knowledge and experience in intensive production of fish in biosecure facilities.
