Oxbow Awards 2019 Scholarship Winners

Oxbow Animal Health shared the recipients of its 2019 Academic Scholarships.

 

“Oxbow is extremely passionate about supporting the future of exotic animal health,” said Melissa Ross, vice president of marketing. “One of the most important ways that we accomplish this is through our annual academic scholarships. We are so proud to support the 2019 Oxbow Academic Scholarship recipients as they pursue their dreams of becoming tomorrow’s leaders in exotic animal health.”

 

The Oxbow Academic Scholarships awards annual financial support to five outstanding students pursuing education in the exotic and companion animal veterinary fields. Winners are chosen based on their interest and involvement in the exotic animal health field, excellence in academic achievement, and how they express their future career goals and interests. 

 

The 2019 scholarship winners were honored with four different awards. BaiLee McMillan received the Nebraska High School Scholarship; Brianna Huff received the Undergraduate Academic Scholarship; Ellie Peters and Sherri Rios both received Veterinary Technology Academic Scholarships; and Kate Maas received the Veterinary Medicine Academic Scholarship.
