Pet Food Experts and Bentley’s Pet Stuff donated 15 pallets of pet food and supplies to the Colorado Pet Pantry, located in Boulder, Colo., to help feed homeless pets and pets of families in need on Feb. 4.

The Colorado Pet Pantry, founded in 2013, is partnered with over 25 food bank locations.

“Typically, the Pet Pantry distributes 40 pallets of food per month,” said Eileen Lambert, founder and executive director of Colorado Pet Pantry. “The food we’re receiving from Pet Food Experts and Bentley’s Pet Stuff will help us get a good start on February, where we have seen higher need than usual.”

“Partnering with a distributor whose mission is aligned with Bentleys Pet Stuff is an easy choice, since our goals are to help as many pets and children in need,” said Lisa Senafe, founder of Bentley’s Pet Stuff. “We are happy to provide quality pet food to those in need in Colorado.”

Through its partnerships, the Colorado Pet Pantry was able to distribute 1.8 million meals to pets in need throughout 2018.

Loving pets is a job requirement at Pet Food Experts; thats why we were excited to partner with Bentleys to help out the Colorado Pet Pantry and the Boulder community,” said Kelly Pye, inside sales supervisor for Pet Food Experts. “Our mission is to feed as many pets as we possibly can, whether its through donations like this or providing independent pet retailers with the food and supplies to care for their customers furry friends. Its important to us that we stay focused on that mission, especially during cold weather months, when cats and dogs need it most.
