Pet Parents Welcomes New Staff Members

Pet Parents hired two new team members: Klare Price, communications and accounts assistant, and Emily Wagner, sales and marketing assistant.

“Communicating has always been my ‘thing,’ but I finally get to put it to good use,” said Price. “Taking on this position, what I love most is the meaning behind my communicating. I get to build up and dig deep into the relationships Pet Parents creates. I get to fire up my passion for animals and put that forth growing these relationships.”

Price will serve as a go-to resource for Pet Parents and the people it nurtures relationships with. Through her communication skills, she will provide a sense of belonging to the people her company touches and prompt the purpose of Pet Parents and its products.

“Marketing and pets has always been a huge passion of mine; being able to have both in a job is a dream come true,” said Wagner, who holds degrees in marketing and management. “I’m excited to see the changes I can bring to Pet Parents and how much it will grow with my position. Pet Parents is more than a company, it is a lifestyle.”

Wagner will be working on different marketing projects and B2B sales, aiming to grow sales.

"At Pet Parents we work with the mantra, ‘the more people you help, the wealthier you will become.’ With this, we believe in serving people, not just selling,” said Blake Anderson, founder of Pet Parents. “Frankly, the acceptance of our products in the pet industry has been meteoric, but I've had this growing feeling that we could do more to deepen our relationships in the pet industry and do more to serve our network of retailers across North America. With this in mind, we decided to bring on Klare to help us do just that. We believe sales is the metric of the impact you’re making. While growing revenue is important, for us at Pet Parents we’re really striving to better the lives of fellow pet parents and their pets. This has led to us doubling down on our efforts to serve more pets and their parents. One of the many steps to accomplish this has been to add Emily to our pack. We’re very excited for the future and what we have in the pipeline.”
