Pet Partners Adds Board Member

Pet Partners welcomed Alicen Blair-Sibly to its board.

“Alicen successfully places board of director candidates for not-for-profit organizations for a living and has nearly 20 years’ experience doing so,” said Annie Peters, president and CEO of Pet Partners. “We’re honored that she’s found a match for herself with Pet Partners.”

Blair-Sibly is currently the managing partner of social impact and consumer and retail practices for Boyden, a global retained search, interim management and leadership consulting firm. She has nearly 20 years of experience in the executive search industry and completed hundreds of searches at all levels, including board directors, C-suite executives and vice presidents. Prior to Boyden, she served as managing director for Harvard Group International, another executive and professional search firm. She earned her bachelor’s degree in business from Georgia Southwestern State University, in Americus, Ga., and is certified in behavioral interviewing through Emory University, in Atlanta.

Pet Partners aims to improve human health and well being through the human-animal bond, registering nine species of animals with their human handlers as therapy animal teams. Its teams make over 3 million visits per year in hospitals, nursing homes, schools, libraries, airports and at employee well being events. Pet Partners also advocates for legislation that promotes human health and well being through its grassroots advocacy program and educates handlers and the public about the positive impact of animal-assisted interventions.
