Pet Releaf Hosts Farm Tours

Pet Releaf hosted two tours of its hemp farm in Colorado for its retail partners in September.

Attendees received the opportunity to spend the day at Pet Releaf’s hemp farm, the largest USDA-certified organic hemp farm in the U.S., and see Pet Releaf’s proprietary strain, PR-33, prior to harvest.

“Seeing the farm helped me understand that Pet Releaf is truly doing everything in their power to provide a quality and effective product,” said Caitlin Sullivan from N.J.-based Cherrybrook Pet Supplies, winner of the Pet Releaf Global Pet Expo farm tour giveaway. “As a retailer of natural and holistic pet supplies, we strive to carry products from trustworthy partners that are able to provide us with detailed information on the products sourcing and manufacturing, as Pet Releaf has done. Seeing the farm in person and having had this detailed manufacturing process information shared with us, only solidifies our confidence in our decision to sell Pet Releaf.”

The tours were led by head of Pet Releaf’s farming operations, Shawnee, and chief botanist of PR-33, Damien. Attendees were educated on why USDA-certified organic hemp is important, how difficult it is to maintain USDA organic status on cannabis plant material and had their questions regarding best farming practices for growing hemp to be used as CBD products specific to pets answered. Pet Releaf is the only CBD company in the pet industry who controls its entire manufacturing process, from seed to sale, from plant to pet.
