Petcurean is donating 17,000 lbs. of dog and cat food to the Bahamas Humane Society in Nassau, which has taken in animals from shelters and residents in the wake of Hurricane Dorian.

The cat and dog food is being donated in conjunction with the company’s distribution partners, Southeast Pet and Phillips Pet Food

“The damage that this storm has caused is unimaginable, and we hope to provide even the smallest bit of relief, comfort, and hope for the families and precious pets affected by Hurricane Dorian,” said Christine Mallier, PR & community relations manager at Petcurean. “As the rebuilding begins, we want to do what we can to support the local animal shelters that have no doubt been inundated with displaced animals waiting to be reunited with their families.”

Petcurean is committed to helping pets and pet parents that are impacted by natural disasters and supporting animal rescue groups that work to assist animals in need. In 2019, Petcurean made 193 donations, with a total of more than 92,600 lbs. of food donated.
