Petcurean Helps California Shelters

Petcurean donated 3,000 lbs. of pet food to Care Animal HospitalTails of Rescue and ResQ Animal Coalition to support the hundreds of dogs and cats affected by the Carr Fire, which ignited in Northern Calif. on July 23.

With help from one of its distributors, Petcurean is donating food to the pets left behind after 38,000 people evacuated Redding, Calif.

“Although the fire in the city of Redding and surrounding areas is absolutely devastating, we want worried pet owners to gain some peace of mind knowing that their beloved pets are being cared for during this scary and stressful time,” said Christine Mallier, public and community relations manager at Petcurean. “Our hope is that this small act of giving also provides comfort to the displaced pets and helps lighten the load for the incredible shelters that are acting as a safe haven, until these pets are reunited with their families.”
