Scenthound To Open New Franchise Locations

Scenthound, a new pet industry franchise, signed deals for three franchise locations under development since announcing its franchise opportunity in the spring of 2019.

The membership-based grooming brand has opened four locations that are operating in Florida. Scenthound estimates an additional 20 locations will open in 2020, with a focus on Southeastern markets, including Georgia, Alabama, Texas, North Carolina, South Carolina and Florida.

“We’re excited about expanding our footprint and offering our pioneering dog grooming approach to even more pet parents nationwide,” said Scenthound founder and CEO Tim Vogel.

Scenthound was founded in 2015 after Vogel spent more than 10 years running both a mobile grooming business and local grooming centers. Vogel embarked on a mission to give dogs and their owners a fast, easy and affordable grooming “scenter” that could offer a nice haircut with a pet’s health in mind.

The grooming brand focuses on the five core areas of maintenance: Skin, Coat, Ears, Nails and Teeth. The Scent Techs are fully trained to give dogs the care that their breed requires – not just a haircut.

Scenthound is actively seeking single and multi-unit franchise partners who are passionate about dogs and are looking to be hands-on with the business.
