Splash and Dash Offers Benefits to Furloughed Government Employees

Splash and Dash Groomerie and Boutique is offering additional benefits in 10 states and 15 cities to furloughed federal government employees during the shutdown.

Subscription fees for current monthly members affected by the shutdown will be postponed until the shutdown ends, with no disruption in service. Members will remain eligible for unlimited baths for their pets.

Existing and new customers can bring their pets in for a Bath and Brush, or any other grooming service, with the ability to postpone payment until they return to work.

These benefits are available in La Verne, Point Loma – San Diego, and (coming soon) Valencia, Calif.; Peachtree City and Suwanee, Ga.; Meridian, Idaho; Des Plaines, Ill.; Baton Rouge, La.; Gaithersburg, Md.; Grand Rapids, Mich.; Southern Pines, N.C.; Monroe and St. James, N.Y.; and Coppell and McKinney, Texas.

“Pets are man’s best friend, so of course we want to ensure they are happy, healthy and active for years to come,” said Dan Barton, founder of Splash and Dash. “We care deeply about our franchisees, their local communities and the pets in their care. We don’t want to see them suffer because of a situation over which they have no control.”

Splash and Dash Groomerie and Boutique educates franchise owners on the best ways to care for pets including proper nutrition, hygiene, grooming and more. The boutique section of the spa features natural pet foods and treats, and U.S.-made eco-friendly accessories and supplies. Treatments include “pawdicures,” aromatherapy, facials, de-shedding, breed and age specific styling, hair and nail coloring, nourish conditioning, nail cutting and filing, dental care and a signature monthly bathing membership, which offers unlimited bathing and brushing.
