The kibble joins another new cat product, Marvelous Morsels wet food for cats, which was launched earlier in 2019. Both new lines are available in grain free and single animal protein diets.

“Our cat kibble is high protein and grain-free, with meat being the number one ingredient and animal meal the second," said Marc Hill, chief executive officer, Stella & Chewy’s. "Its potato-free, low glycemic value and low carbs. The kibble is rich in omegas benefiting the skin and coat, and the only fruit added are cranberries which helps promote a healthy urinary tract. Hill also shared that more dog and cat products are being planned for rollout in 2020.

In addition to announcing its new cat kibble lines, Stella & Chewy’s revealed its November Adopt a Senior initiative was a success. The company originally committed $25,000 towards the adoption fees of senior dogs and cats over the age of four years old. Soon after the launch, the campaign went viral and by the end of November, 371 animals were adopted throughout the United States, and Stella & Chewy’s investment in the program ended up covering $80,000 in adoption fees.
