Streamathon USA will debut its first virtual Streamathon, which will raise money to benefit small independent pet businesses and rescues in need of support as a result of the COVID-19 crisis.

The 24-hour Streamathon airs live on Friday, May 1 at 4 p.m. CST and will continue through 4 p.m. CST on Saturday, May 2. The event will be live on Facebook, Twitch, YouTube, Twitter and on its website.

Programming will include features such as ‘Living Room Pet Talent Show,’ Johnny Peers and the Muttville Comix, Streamathon’s Most Adorable Pet, a doggie fashion show from G Girl Productions, a live large bird show from the Birdman, and special guests like Chrissy Joy and Beasley from Agent Cody Barks, Bandit the first USO Therapy Dog, the Savitsky Cats, Radio Pet Lady Tracie Hotchner, and more.

"The future of the pet community relies on essential, small pet business owners and service organizations, and their ability to provide their products and services,” said Jenn Carter, executive producer of Streamathon USA. “As we begin to emerge from the pandemic, we are counting on these businesses for the health and welfare of pets and pet parents everywhere.  We are proud to present the Streamathon for Pets on behalf of small pet businesses and rescues that are struggling to raise funds and don’t have a clear path forward."
