SuperZoo Sees Success in 2018

​Words won’t be able to fully convey the energy and excitement found at this year’s SuperZoo, which took place June 26-28 at Mandalay Bay in Las Vegas. Produced by the World Pet Association (WPA), the show was an undeniable success. With a bigger exhibition floor and an increased attendance, the show catered to industry professionals from all over the country and around the world.

 

By hosting new attractions like a Made in the USA Showcase and a Pet Tech Center, SuperZoo found unique ways to keep pace with the industry’s current trends. The show also maintained crowd favorites like the New Product Showcase, grooming competitions and expert-led seminars. As always, the event was a valuable networking opportunity for both industry veterans and those just starting out.

 

With all of this in mind, it’s no surprise that SuperZoo 2018 boasted more retail stores in attendance than in 2017. The show also drew 9,500 buyers who all passed a rigorous credential process implemented by WPA.

 

“SuperZoo’s impressive growth is evidence that the outlook for pet retail, while competitive, is still very positive,” said Jacinthe Moreau, WPA president. “SuperZoo 2018 was dedicated to ensuring that pet retailers and service professionals had access to concrete education, networking opportunities, innovative products and emerging trends.”

 

With all of this success, it’s certain that a high bar has been set for 2019.
