TOP's Parrot Food Earns USDA Organic Certification

Published:

TOPs Parrot Food earned USDA organic certification for its complete product lineup of pellets, seed mixes and treats.

The company, which celebrated its 15th anniversary in 2018, completed its certification period and now offers a lineup of certified organic parrot food products that are made with all organic ingredients and managed with internal processes that meet the standards of the designation.

“Earning USDA organic certification is a responsibility that we take very seriously, and puts the TOPs brand in a higher-level category when it comes to offering truly healthy, natural food for parrots,” said Benjamin Ertischek, CEO of TOP’s Parrot Food. “Bird owners around the world can now be 100 percent confident that TOPs Parrot Food organic products offer the best ingredients for their companions. We are excited to be the only parrot food company that can proudly use the USDA organic mark and that does not use any fillers, like peanuts, corn or soy, or artificial flavors or colors.”

TOP’s Parrot Food uses proprietary parrot pellets that are made with all natural ingredients. A line of seed mixes for large and small birds, birdie bread mixes and seed treats completes the companys product offerings.

The certified organic seal guarantees certain safeguards that are verified by a third party, such as using non-GMO ingredients.

The company began rolling out new product packaging featuring the USDA organic seal and will be fully transitioned in early 2019.
