TOP's Parrot Food signed on to be a primary sponsor of a new cookbook that aims to educate parrot owners about the benefits of healthy avian nutrition. A Parrot’s Fine Cuisine Cookbook & Nutritional Guide, written by Karmen Budai and Shean Pao, offers informative articles from leading avian authorities, as well as an innovative collection of over 60 recipes that can be prepared for companion birds.

“Nutrition is such an important part of caring for a parrot and this new book will help guide and entertain pet owners who are looking to provide only the best food for their companions,” TOP's Parrot Food said in a statement. “TOP's Parrot Food was immediately interested in being part of this project because it fits with our company mission and the goals of our retail partners. Our premium parrot pellets are part of a healthy daily diet and line up perfectly with the book's recommendations. We're excited to be involved.”

As a sponsor, TOP's Parrot Food will be supporting the authors at events and through marketing activities in the U.S. and Europe. The book features information on the importance of raw whole foods, the nutritional value of soaking and sprouting, sprouting schedules, avian teas, the pros and cons of pellets, safe cookware, pure water, safe and toxic food lists, a nutritional list, and more.
