The Ark Offers Franchising Opportunities
The Ark Pet Spa & Hotel is seeking business-minded pet lovers to join its franchise.
After 12 years of serving Chattanooga, Tenn. and Atlanta pet owners, The Ark’s franchise crew will now be attracting and training individuals who would like to open up their own pet hotel and enter the $70 billion pet industry. According to the American Pet Products Association (APPA), the industry has seen an average annual growth of 7 percent. APPA estimates there to be over 60 million household that own a dog and 47 million households that own a cat in the U.S.
Since its opening in 2006, The Ark Pet Spa & Hotel has provided a fun, safe and loving environment for thousands of dogs, cats and other pets while their parents are away. The Ark offers pet boarding, doggy daycare, pet grooming, dog training and even has a pet bakery and market called Slobberbones. The Ark is currently rated A+ by the Better Business Bureau.
The Ark includes one location in Doraville, Ga and three in Chattanooga. With a proven model, a strong brand, a growing industry and a vision for expansion, The Ark took the steps to develop a competitive franchise package and will now be offering it to anyone interested in the Southeast U.S.
The Ark’s franchise crew worked with National Franchise Associates (NFA) to create its franchise documents and manuals. The crew, which consists of Jay Floyd, founder and CEO; Adam Harbin, vice president of development; Sarah Speer, director of operations; Kate Wells, marketing manager; and Brittany Carden, franchise operations trainer; will help support all of the existing corporate-owned franchise units and any future franchise locations. They will guide future franchise owners every step of the way and provide ongoing assistance with site selection, facility design, construction, crew and owner training, management, accounting and marketing.
