The Dog Gurus To Host Virtual Pet Industry Conference
The conference will provide participants with tools to help virus-proof business, pivot fast and hit the ground running when the pandemic is over. The conference will take place online using a virtual software platform called vconferenceonline. The conference offers informative sessions for dog daycares, lodging facilities, dog trainers, groomers, pet sitters/dog walkers and anyone who sells retail products as part of their business.
The virtual conference will include speakers, five different topic tracks and an exhibit hall. Participants can also look forward to free prizes.
The featured educational tracks are offered by The Association of Professional Dog Trainers, Pet Sitters International, The Dog Gurus, Paragon School of Grooming/Learn2Groom and Pet Boss Nation.
Currently, speakers include Charlotte Biggs (CPACO), co-founder of the Professional Animal Care Certification; Kari Campbell (CPACP, CPACM, CPACO), from Dog Tired Doggie Daycare; Lori Davis from Paramount Success Group; and Beth Stulz from Pet Sitters International, with more to come. The Dog Gurus have joined forces with several other organizations that will help to deliver content to the pet industry through this event.
“Events are an integral part of networking and learning across all industries, but unfortunately due to the current pandemic, thousands of events and conferences have been cancelled or postponed around the world,” said Robin Bennett, CPDT-KA and co-founder of The Dog Gurus. “Now more than ever pet care businesses need our help. We plan to provide critical information regarding rebooting a business, as well as plenty of opportunities to connect with other pet care professionals who get what you’re going through.”
